Mas, nesta quarta, ap\u00f3s encontro com o presidente eleito na sede da Aeron\u00e1utica ele confirmou a jornalistas que vai para o GSI.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nesta ter\u00e7a-feira (6), Jair Bolsonaro afirmou que\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/g1.globo.com\/politica\/noticia\/2018\/11\/06\/bolsonaro-diz-que-general-heleno-pode-ir-para-o-gsi-e-nao-mais-para-a-defesa.ghtml\" target=\"_top\" rel=\"noopener\">preferia o general Augusto Heleno como ministro do GSI<\/a>\u00a0do que como ministro da Defesa. O presidente eleito j\u00e1 tinha anunciado o general como ministro da Defesa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O GSI, atualmente comandado pelo general S\u00e9rgio Etchegoyen, \u00e9 o minist\u00e9rio respons\u00e1vel pela coordena\u00e7\u00e3o da \u00e1rea de intelig\u00eancia do governo, ao qual est\u00e1 subordinada a Ag\u00eancia Brasileira de Intelig\u00eancia (Abin).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cabe ao GSI, por exemplo, acompanhar quest\u00f5es com &#8220;potencial de risco&#8221; \u00e0 estabilidade institucional, fazer a seguran\u00e7a pessoal do presidente da Rep\u00fablica e prevenir crises. O gabinete fica dentro do Pal\u00e1cio do Planalto, em Bras\u00edlia.<\/p>\n<div class=\"content-intertitle\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h2>General Augusto Heleno<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Um dos militares mais pr\u00f3ximos de Jair Bolsonaro, o general de ex\u00e9rcito Augusto Heleno Ribeiro Pereira, 71 anos, chegou a ser cotado para vice na chapa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ele participou da elabora\u00e7\u00e3o do plano de governo do presidente eleito e tamb\u00e9m auxiliou na interlocu\u00e7\u00e3o do candidato do PSL com integrantes da c\u00fapula das For\u00e7as Armadas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Na reserva desde 2011, o general comandou a miss\u00e3o de paz das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas no Haiti, foi comandante militar da Amaz\u00f4nia e chefiou o Departamento de Ci\u00eancia e Tecnologia do Ex\u00e9rcito.
