Ele sofreu complica\u00e7\u00f5es da\u00a0<strong>Covid-19<\/strong>, de acordo com o Hospital Paulistano, na Bela Vista, onde estava internado.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Montenegro ficou conhecido por seu papel no filme\u00a0<strong>Cidade de Deus<\/strong>, em que deu vida ao pai do protagonista Buscap\u00e9 (<strong>Alexandre Rodrigues<\/strong>). Ele estava intubado na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva (UTI), com 55% do pulm\u00f5es comprometidos. Depois de sofrer uma parada card\u00edaca, acabou n\u00e3o resistindo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Amigos do ator prestaram homenagem nas redes sociais.\u00a0&#8220;Acabo de saber dessa not\u00edcia muito triste a partida de mais um irm\u00e3o amigo e companheiro de trabalho&#8221;, disse o tamb\u00e9m ator\u00a0<strong>Lu\u00eds Miranda.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Meu muito querido Edson, o domingo amanheceu triste com sua passagem.
