Em uma mudan\u00e7a in\u00e9dita, o benef\u00edcio ser\u00e1 concedido de forma unificada tanto para funcion\u00e1rios da iniciativa privada quanto para servidores p\u00fablicos. Anteriormente<strong>, <\/strong><strong>os pagamentos seguiam crit\u00e9rios distintos<\/strong><strong>: os inscritos no PIS<\/strong>, vinculados a empresas privadas, recebiam conforme a data de anivers\u00e1rio, enquanto os<strong>participantes do Pasep, que s\u00e3o servidores p\u00fablicos<\/strong>, seguiam um cronograma baseado no d\u00edgito final da inscri\u00e7\u00e3o no programa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>O abono salarial de 2024 totalizar\u00e1 um montante de R$ 27 bilh\u00f5es<\/strong>, destinado a 24.874.071 trabalhadores que t\u00eam direito ao benef\u00edcio. Destes, 2,89 milh\u00f5es s\u00e3o servidores p\u00fablicos, cujos pagamentos s\u00e3o realizados atrav\u00e9s do Banco do Brasil, enquanto 21,9 milh\u00f5es s\u00e3o trabalhadores da iniciativa privada, que sacam os valores pela Caixa Econ\u00f4mica Federal. Anteriormente, o PIS era pago segundo o m\u00eas de anivers\u00e1rio do benefici\u00e1rio, enquanto o Pasep seguia o \u00faltimo d\u00edgito do n\u00famero de inscri\u00e7\u00e3o. O abono salarial \u00e9 um benef\u00edcio anual, com valor m\u00e1ximo equivalente a um sal\u00e1rio m\u00ednimo, atualmente fixado em R$ 1.412. Para ter direito ao abono, \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio estar inscrito no PIS\/Pasep por no m\u00ednimo cinco anos, ter trabalhado formalmente com carteira assinada por pelo menos 30 dias em 2022 e ter recebido at\u00e9 dois sal\u00e1rios m\u00ednimos mensais.
